A memorable night at the Stars of the Hastings!

10 Jul

What a fun night it was at the Stars Of The Hastings event on Friday June 28th! Excitement levels were high as local community members took to the stage with professional dance partners, all for a fantastic cause. As proud sponsors, the Birdrock Bar & Grill team enjoyed front row seats to watch the dancing action unfold.

The true star of the show was our own Zoe Archer, General Manager of Settlers Inn Hotel. Zoe shone brightly, raising an impressive $32,000 for the Cancer Council, earning the prestigious title of Hit Mid North Coast Highest Fundraiser. Her dedication and hard work in the lead up and on the night has been inspiring and reflects the community spirit we embody at Flower Hotels.

We also want to extend a huge congratulations to the Birdrock Bar & Grill People's Choice and Judges' Award winner, Nicole Lindley, and her dance partner, Kylie Morris from Soul Fire Pole Dance! As the first dancers of the night, they set the bar high, making it clear that the competition was going to be fierce.

The local judging panel comprising Karen, Annette, and Stacey, were joined by Dancing With The Stars royalty, Helen Richey, who has been a long-time supporter of this wonderful event.

A special shout-out goes to Alison Cooke from the Cancer Council for organizing such a fantastic event once again. Thanks to the incredible efforts of all the participants, over $161,000 was raised this year! It's events like these that showcase the strength and unity of our community, and we're incredibly proud to be a part of it.
